Choc Mint Raw Balls

I have a sweet tooth, and I’m a bit of a choc mint fan! So these raw balls tick both boxes without any naughty ingredients. Healthy all the way – of course, all things in moderation!


  • 1 cup dry roasted almonds
  • 1 cup dry roasted cashews
  • 12 medjool dates, seeds removed
  • 3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of food grade peppermint oil or 1 teaspoon natural peppermint extract
  • And a little coconut for fun!
  1. Place the almonds and cashews into your processor and blend until the mixture resembles coarse flour. Add the dates and cacao (or cocoa) and blend until the mixture resembles a fine, sticky crumb. Add the peppermint oil or extract and mix to combine. Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls, then place into the fridge to set. (I like to roll the balls in coconut).
  2. Eat and enjoy!
